About Me
Hey! I'm Brittany Villella (she/her) a Black + Samoan woman and a Marriage and Family Therapy graduate student. I am neurodivergent, an Enneagram 8 and a former women's rugby athlete. I believe therapy is a radical act of community building, creating a space where folks can reconnect with themselves and others in a way that feels freeing and whole. Healing isn't just about fixing what's broken; it's about reclaiming your power to live freely and authentically, especially in spaces that might try to box you in or define your worth.
For nearly a decade, I have supported youth, athletes, and students in a variety of roles including: coach, Freedom school teacher, trainer and case manager. Becoming a therapist is a natural evolution of my inherent interests and skills.
I am under the supervision of Leila Comer, LMFT.
In the Office
When you walk in, you might first notice my big hair yeah, it’s part of the vibe and probably catch me fiddling with my fingers or tapping my energy somewhere nearby. I bring high energy and realness to the room, so expect a space that’s alive, welcoming, and never boring.
I’m all about creating a place where you can be yourself, no masks, no holding back. We’ll dive into the tough stuff, laugh when we can, and get honest about what’s really going on. I keep it 100% real, with heart and hustle, because healing deserves both.
Therapist Superpower
My superpower is creating brave, real spaces where folks can show up as their whole selves, no filters, no pretending. I work with people from all walks of life, including high-performing athletes who carry big expectations, but this space is for anyone ready to be seen, heard, and supported on their own terms. I bring honesty, care, and deep commitment to justice and healing, because everyone deserves to feel grounded and empowered, especially when systems don’t always make room for their full humanity.
I'm trained in Brainspotting which is an incredible tool to treat trauma, stuckness + help your body and mind perform in alignment with one another.
Outside of the Office
Binge-watching horror movies (yes, I love a good scare), building epic LEGO creations with my kids, and staying active because I played sports at a high level for years and gotta keep that energy flowing. I’m all about moving my body, trying new workouts, and chasing that endorphin rush.
Human Superpower
My superpower is making people feel like they belong and they finally found a space where they can be real without judgment. I’m great at picking up on the little things, like how someone’s energy shifts or when they need a moment to pause, and knowing how to meet them right there.
I Love Working With
I specifically enjoy working with people who experience ADHD, BIPOC identity, athlete's and men. I especially love exploring sexuality, intimacy + rebuilding trust in relationships.
I lead a Tuesday night men's process group for folks seeking to have healthier relationships. The group is accepting new members.
